The flexibility provided by its advanced design and material enables the new “Active Beadlock” concept to provide efficient lateral beadlock force into the tyre´s beads. Additional width adjustment is also built in to ensure correct beadlock application regardless of tyre bead or wheel tolerance variations.
Ballistics tests have successfully proved the materials used in Runflat CBR and Escape construction do not shatter, crack or break when shot with 7.62 NATO rounds. Below is a section from Runflat CBR following ballistic testing:
